PEARCE IN TRAINING. (Received 8.5 a.m.) Sydney, May 17. Pearce, by rowing daily and doing much walking, i« gradually getting down to his weight. He found that two outings daily were unnecessary at present. Public interest in training is increasing. McVilly, the Tasmanian sculler, is training for the Diamond Sculls.
