There are indications that bombs are being made in private houses, with materials from ono or two chemists. Householders sheltering militants are warned of the risks of being blown up. NURSING THE NURSE. Owing to letters threatening* that Mr Churchill’s babies will be kidnapped,'a detective accompanies the nurse on her morning and afternoon walks. “DROPPERS” AT WORK. Miss Christabel Pankhurst. in an article, condemned the police for their failure to protect the speakers and the Government’s violent suppres s ion. Bombs, containing explosives, were discovered on a railway footbridge at Westbourne Park, the Post Office at Wandsworth, Public Library at Rotherhithe, hotel at Ventivood, in a railway waiting room at Aylesbury, and in a pew in Holy Trinity Church, Hastings. The plate-glass windows of fifty shops in Norwich were badly scratched.
