COMMERCIAL.

1 Mr T. Lamason's Weekly Report, Last Saturday I held my usual .weekly sale with a very good attendance of the public. A very large entry of poultry, vegetables, etc., was catalogued. Prices were somewhat lower than at the previous Sale, due no doubt to the large entry, and the time of the year. I quote as follows: Roosters Is 3d to 2s 6d, hens Is to Is lOd, ducks 2s, geese 2s, 2s Id, cauliflowers 5s to 6s per sack, carrots Is 6d -to 2s per bag, cabbage Is 6d to 2s 6d per sack; other lines and furniture at satisfactory prices.
