Won by two lengths. Time Imin 16 l-ssoc. Railway Handicap.—Kaniki 1, Field Force 2, St. Serf 3. Scratched: Silver Rose. Won by half a length. Time, Imin 16 l-ssec.
Mr R. Gooseman, the well-known trainer, of Hastings, is retiring from public work and will, it is understood, devote his time to the interests nl one well-known Napier owner as well as to that of local sport.
