LAWN TENNIS. AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Sydney, May 13. The Australasian Lawn Tennis Association decided to accept the agreement recently drawn up by the international conference at Paris. (Received 8.50 a.m.) Sydney, May 14. The report of the treasurer of the Tennis Association shows that the >rofitg of the matches between Australia and New Zealand and the Brit.sh Isles totalled £3708, which was equally divided between the British md Australasian Associations. The Davis Cup matches contributed £1576, he profits to New Zealand being £l6O.
ATHLETICS. JUMPING RECORDS. Sydney, May 13. J. R. Glover, in the standing broad ’nmp at Toowoomba, jumped 12ft. loin., a. world’s record. In the hop, tep and jump, he did 30ft. sin., an Australasian record.
