THE ANTI-ALIEN BILL. [By Electric Telegraph —Copyright] [United Press Association ] Washington, May 9. The Governor of California is expected to withhold his signature to the Anti-Alien Bill until the attitude of the Federal Government is known. TARIFF BILL PASSED. The Underwood Tariff Bill passed the House by 281 votes to 131. The Republicans are planning a stiff fight in the Senate, where the Democratic majority for the Bill will not be exceeded by four.
