H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND.
DELAYED BY HEAVY SOUTHERLY [Per Press Association.] Christchurch, May 12. At 8 o’clock the New Zealand was 150 miles from Lyttelton Heads. At 10 o’clock H.M.S. Pyramus received a wireless from Captain Halsey to inform the harbourmaster that there was no chance of getting to Lyttelton owing to the heavy southerly gale.
