WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows:
The indications are for southerly winds, strong to gale, decreasing and moderate to strong prevailing. The weather will probably be cold and changeable. The night will be very cold with frost inland. The weather shoujd improve. Barometer rising.
