The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency’s list of clearing sales for May-June period appear in our advertising columns. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.’s stock sale at the Kohuratahi yards will be held on the 14th V inst. Stratford folk should have fewer dull evenings with facilities for reading so prolific, and to-day Mr Hopkins is advertising his circulating library. Open to anyone. Just at this season, when we have so many people from other parts of the country on the look out for good productive dairy farms, a word to intending land buyers will not be amiss. It is always well to make sure that your adviser is capable ofi giving good advice, and surely a good man to advise as to the value of a farm is the man who has for years successfully worked a dairy farm in the immediate locality.
