CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB. [Per Press Association.] Christchurch, May 7. The Canterbury Jockey Club refused C. Price’s application to have the remainder of his term of disqualification removed. It was decided to increase the stakes for the Grand National meeting by £9BO, making a total of £1790. The scale of penalties for the National Steeplechase, the Hurdles and the Winter Cup was revised. No alteration was made in the conditions for the New Zealand Cup.
