A GRUESOME AFFAIR.
BURIED IN A SHALLOW GRAVE

A farm servant named Winifrid Mitchell was found buried in a shallow grave at Wimborne. Some boys saw an open grave on March 30, and on the following day Mitchell disappeared, saying she was going to Canada.
No search was made until her false teeth were found in a wood a fortnight later. Search revealed the grave filled in. Mitchell was fully dresed and had boon shot in the head. William Barton, gamekeeper, a married man, has been detained in connection with tho affair.
