The suffragettes made overtures to several airmen at Hendon to rescue and convey the Pankhursts abroad in an aeroplane. The police were informed.
The police also discovered a plot to burn the Government aviation sheds up the Avon.

Tbc Daily Mirror states that the police have seized suffragette plans for setting fire to every large timber yard in London, and one for cutting all the telephone fire alarm wires in the vicinity.
