WHOLESALE ARRESTS

In the street ten marines, belongirg to the cruiser Sao Gabriel, were arrested for plotting to liberate the military prisoners aboard the cruiser Republic. One hunlred marines from the military barracks were arrested in connection with the attempted revolt.
