ELTHAM. The following is a list of the voting:—G. W. Taylor, 918 votes; Leonard Hill, 312; James Phillips, 308; Frank Amoore, 275; Michael A. Whiteford, 270; Henry A. Nuttall, 237; Len Webby, 239; James Ballantina, 238; James Maxwell, 217; A. H. Andrews, 205; I. J. Bridger, 179; J. O’Hagan, 176; W. S. Coombridge, 151; A.' J. Richards, 102; the first nine being the successful candidates. INGLEWOOD.

For the Borough Council seven candidates were nominated to fill six vacancies. Mr Robert Fawcett topped the poll with 217. The voting was as follows :—Robt. Fawcett, 217 ; Joseph Gibbs, 185; W. H. Humphrey, 231; Frederick Spurdle, ISS; Hubert W. Tarplee, 188; G. H. Taylor, 198 (elected); Andrew Paterson, 174 (rejected). MAYORALTY. There was no contest for the Mayoralty, the retiring Mayor, Mr G. W. Bennett, did not seek re-election, and Mr George Young was returned unopposed. HALF-HOLI DA Y QUESTION. Very little interest was taken in the poll on the half-holiday question owing to the fact that Inglewood was the only town in Taranaki to hold a poll on the subject, and it was, therefore, improbable that the burgesses would feel inclined to alter the half holiday. Only 300 votes were polled on the subject. The voting was a follows:—M'onday, 1; Tuesday, 1; Wednesday, 3; Thursday, 244; Friday 0; Saturday, 40; informal, 11. WELLINGTON. The following are the complete returns of those elected to the City Council:—R. Fletcher (I.) 10,835, W. H. P. Barber (A.) 10,018, J. Fuller, jun. (J.) 9740, A. R. Atkinson (A.) 9329, R. A. Wright (A.) 9287, G. Frost (A.) 9240, L. McKenzie (A.) 9143, T. C. A. Hislop (A.) 8477, J. Godber (A.) 81:44, A. H. Hindmarsh (L.) 8203, H. Buddie (A.) 8144, W. J. Thompson (A.) 7910, J. Trevor (A) 7691, F. Cohen (I.) 76-37, M. F. Luckie (A) 7656The letters A. I, and L represent tin Association ticket, independent ticket, and Labour ticket.

The final results of the poll for the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board were not available until 2 o’clock on Thursday afternoon. The poll i headed by Dr. ( Mrs) Platts Mills, the Rev Mr Van Staveren is second and the Rev. Mr Elliott third. Three Labor representatives were among tin successful candidates, including Mrs Maclaren, wife of the ex-Mayor.
