A meeting of the Colonial Butter Committee of Selling Agents resolved that it was. expedient that steps he taken to promote legislation to prevent a continuance of coloring margarine as butter, and it was decided to seek the assistance of the Danish and Irish producers. NEWTON KING’S STRATFORD WEEKLY REPORT. At the Haymarket on Saturday there was a fair attendance and a moderate number of pigs were yarded, which met with keen competition, practically every line being cleared at advanced rates. I quote—Slips and weaners 6s to 15s 6d, small stores £1 to £1 5s 6d, medium do. £1 10s 6d to £1 13s, P.B. Boars £1 15s to £2 6s.
