The Government Meteorologist (Rev. T). C. Bates) telegrapher! this afternoon as follows; South-easterly strong winds to gale, heavy rain is to he exported with rivers rising slowly, snow on high country. The night will probably he very cold, barometer rising fast soon, and expect high pressure.
