HIS MAJESTY’S PICTURES
Thursday’s programme for His Majesty’s Theatre includes several exceptionally fine films, chief among these being a beautiful colored giving views of the River Orrae. The picture is a Gaumont production. “Margaret Catchpole,” a 3000 ft. drama, is a romantic and thrilling story dealing with the life of a young English girl who falls in love with a convict, and, dressed as a man, followed him out to the penal settlement in Australia. Much interest should lie taken in the Solig drama, “The Cattle Rustlers.” May Moore, the cattle baron’s daughter, is engaged to Jack. Jim applies for and secures a job as puncher. That night Jim signals the rustlers to start their work. They descend upon the herd and stampede the eatle towards the mountains. Jim decides to carry off Moore’s daughter, May. He tells May that her father has been injured, and that lie has been sent to take her. May believes the spy’s story and rides behind him on his horse. Through an accident, May learns of the man’s treachery and her screams awaken tlie camp. The chase that follows is long, hut finally the desperadoes arc captured and the cattle found.
