Dr. Mawson for several days has been trying to send a wireless to Australia. Owing to an unknowi cause, the messages are undecipherable. k
Professor Bavi‘d\ presumes that a blizzard has caused an accident to the wireless mast. He believes the party is safe for the rest of the winter, but the refitting of the Aurora is being pushed on as speedily as possible so as to leave as early as it is thought practicable to get through the ice.
