LABORER FOUND DEAD. [Per Press Association.] Damievirke, April 26. James Smith, labourer, at Kiritaki, was found dead in a paddock this morning. Ho was engaged carting firewood, and the horse had evidently bolted. An inquest will bo held. Auckland, April 28. The body which was found in the harbour on April 1, has fairly conclusively been proved to be that of a man named Alex. Glcndcnning, ageci 37 years. Deceased was an educated man from Home, who had been ■employed on a farm at Cabbage Bay. He disappeared some months ago.
