Pearce and Barry have signed article's for a match on 25th July, including the English and Welsh Championships lor the new Sportsman’s Cup. A UNIQUE COINCIDENCE. FINDING THE STAKES. (Received 11.20 a.m.) Pearce has deposited another £SO and Barry £IOO, with a further £l5O apiece to be deposited on 16th June, and £250 each on 14th July. Mr James, of The Field, is stakeholder. A coincidence is that Pearce’s father sculled the first race for the old Sportsman Cup, and his son is the first to race for the new Cup.
