BOWLING.
THE BANNER FINAL, The semi-finals for the banner championship for the southern end of the province took place yesterday at Hawera between Patea and Pibama, the latter receiving the verdict by five points. The final is to bo played at Hawera this afternoon between Pihama and New Plymouth (winners of the northern end). The New Plymouth team will consist of the following:—Fraser, Burgess, Luscombe, A. K. Smart, H. Smart, S. Bundle, Jenkinson, Morey, C. Bundle, Medley. Paul, Penn.
