As' the Auckland train was crossing Camden Street, an old lady named Mrs Grace, who was walking, over the line, ■ was struck by the, side, of .the engine and knocked down * instantaneously and killed. The'usual warning was given, by the engine, driver, and how the lady came to .walk into the .engine cannot bo explained. She leaves a family of grown-up children. Auckland, April 22.. A married woman named Elizabeth Parker, 47, was found dead in a Grey Street boardinghouse. She complained of feeling unwell yesterday.
