AT MANGERE ROPE WORKS. Aukckland, April 21. Albon’s rope works at Mangere were totally destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The building and plant were valued at £750, and insured for £4OO. Auckland, April 21.' A fire at Archill this morning partly destroyed a house owned and occupied by T. Hill. The building was insured for £2OO in the London and Lancashire Office, and the furniture for £IOO in the National. New Plymouth, April 21. A new house near Okato was destroyed by fire On Friday night. It was owned and occupied by a farmer named Cowling, who had been burning logs in the vicinity. The place was insured for £3OO in the Phoenix Office, and the furniture for £IOO in the South British. It was a total loss.
