It will be 360 horse-power and of 350,000 cubic feet capacity. The Imperial Air Fleet Committee have offered Hamel’s monoplane to New Zealand, which lias accepted it as the first unit in an Imperial air fleet. The newspaper Standard has inaugurated a public subscription towards the scheme. Mr William Coward has subscribed £2OO and guaranteed £6OO. Sir Joseph Ward and Lord Desborough have made generous subscriptions.
