COMMENCE OPERATIONS.
[Per Press Association.] New Plymouth, April 19. The Taranaki Oil Lands Acquisition and Development Company, chiefly Marlborough shareholders, commenced active drilling operations this morning within a few chains of the flowing wells at Moturoa. The machinery and buildings are of a particularly substantial character, and are under the manager of Mr Federowicq, who was selected by Sir Boverton Rodwood. (['he Company’s prospects are considered to bo very bright.
