RIFLE SHOOTING.
STRATFORD BEATS KARON GA. (By Bullseye.) On Thursday afternoon a team of twelve Kaponga riflemen were entertained in a friendly match with the local club, at the 300, 000, and 600yds ranges. Some excellent scores were put up, Riflemen Harrison and Speck eacli scoring 98, and Stratford, with a total of 1089, won by the narrow margin of 13 points. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the ladies, and was very much enjoyed by all present. • The following are the scores: —
