Fresh charges of French insults on the German Riviera and elsewhere have been made prominent in the newspapers. The irritation caused thereby is worse than the Agadir incident. FRENCH CAPTAIN CHARGED WITH ESPIONAGE. De More], a French captain of engineers, liais been arrested for inspecting a bridge at Spires. He denies the charge of espionage, and says that he was merely spending his leave in travelling.
