HIS HOLINESS THE POPE.
CONDITION STILL CRITICAL
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] , Rome, April 17. The Pope’s temperature rose slightly this afternoon. He had a spell of coughing that almost suffocated him. The gravest feature is his general exhaustion. Th© bulletin this evening says that during the day ho was feverless, and his temperature was 981. The bronchial symptoms are unchanged.
