VERDICT FOR DEFENDANTS. (Received Noon.) London, April 16. Bishop Arnold Mathew' (Earl of Landaff) sited “The Times” for libel in publishing hi translation of a papal bull excofnmunicating Mathew' wherein the words “wicked ,crime” were used in 4 reference to Mathew’s consecration of clergymen. A Verdict-was-given for the defendants. The jury deprecated the publication in England of bulls affecting the studies-of individuals.
