NEWTON KING’S WEEKLY REPORT. On Monday, 7th instant, at my Urenui yards I had a fair entry of sheep 1 Arid cattle. The enquiry was dull, WSVe especially for sheep, only one pen being cleared. A good number of weaners were yarded, and although a very few lines were sold at the hammer, I cleared- privately all except two lines<of second rate mixed cattle. At Rahptu on Tucsday the Bth instant, for my cattle fair, there was a very big entry, all; pens, races and side paddocks btnng fully taxed. There was a splendid attendance of buyers from all parts of Taranaki, making competition good for all lines offered, practically the whole yarding of 800 head of cattle being cleared at the hammer. About 320 head of weaners were yarded, these meeting with a very keen demand.
