BOWLING, At Hawera on Wednesday, Patea defeated Manaia by 81 games to 59. The result of tho competition now is that Patea, Pihama, and Hawera have tied for honors as far as South Taranaki is concerned. In regard to tho finals, Patea has drawn a bye, mid Hawera and Pihama meet at Manaia to-day. Should Hawera beat Pirama, the Patea and Hawera clubs will play off on the Waverley green, if such will be convenient to the Waverley Club. In the event of Pihama winning from Hawera, tho PateaPihama match will he played on one af tho neutral greens. Tho winner of the Northern end is the New Piyiiouth Club.
