LAND AGGREGATION.

STATEMENT BY MR MASSEY. [Per Press Association. 1 Wellington, April 10. The Prime Minister stated to-oaj that lie had received a report from the Crown Lands Ranger regarding tinalleged aggregation oi holdings in the Mangaweka district. Mr Massey said that ho had not yet had time to study the report thoroughly, but it showed that a certain amount of aggregation had taken place. It was equally clear, however, that this occurred before his Government took office. The report did not deal with native lands or describe the conditions m a district where there were practically no native lands. Ho would bo in a position to make a further statement in a day or two.
