The Daily Mail’s offer of two prizes totalling £15,000 for successful hydroplane trips around the coast of Britain and across the Atlantic Ocean lias evoked great enthusiasm in England, on the Continent, and in America. It is confidently predicted that the journey across the Atlantic will be performed on one day between sunrise and sunset within the present year.
