SAILED FOR WELLINGTON. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Melbourne, April 8. The New Zealand sailed at 1 o’clock this afternoon for Wellington. GRIEVANCE AT GISBORNE.
Gisborne, April 8. At a public meeting to make anangements for the reception rf tne New Zealand, it was resolved to request the Government to arrange for the vessel to call on some ! other day be-: side Sunday, in order that country people may have the opportunity of making an inspection of the warship.
