Wellington, April 8. A deputation waited on the Premier ('Mr Massey) this morning, when application was made for the battleship New Zealand to visit Wanganui. The Premier pointed out that the vessel was not under the control of the New Zealand Government, but representations would probably be made to the Imperial authorities to enable the battleship to visit Wanganui and other places.
