MAN BURNED IN CARAVAN.

[Per Press Association.] Feilding, April 7. Some hoys out shooting in the Carnarvon district saw a fire in the distance at three o’clock on Sunday morning. In then fternoon on passing the vicinity they made an inspection, and found a caravan on wheels destroyed. Examining the remains, one boy named Wholman was horrified to find the charred remains of a man lying across a stretcher. The man had evidently been suffocated whilst alseep. The police are investigating, but the body lias not yet been identified. Later. •The body has been identified as that of N. Marshall, engaged on a roadi motallingi. contract.
