TARANAKI DAIRY PRODUCE
The following return showing exports of dairy produce from the New Plymouth Breakwater, is compiled from the shipping companies’ records. The bulk of the produce exported goes io London. The value is an approximate estimate, butter being reckoned at 110 s per cwt and cheese at 60s per cwt.; —
The amount of butter and cheese in store on March 31st was 6239 boxes of butter and 3614 crates of cheese. The following table shows the exports for last season, calculating butter at 105 s per cwt., and cheese at 60s per cwt.: —
