The Wellington Racing Club’s\ autumn meeting opened to-day in splendid weather, and there was a verylarge attendance. The course was in excellent order and the racing throughout was very interesting. The totalisator investments amounted to £21,980 10s, against £19,686 for the corresponding day of last autumn meeting, an increase of £2294.
