TOTALISATOR PERMITS
[Per Press Association.] Dargaville, April 3. Replying to the request that tiie Northern Wairoa Racing Chub’s totalisator permit should be granted, the Minister of Internal Affairs said there was no possibility of the permit in question being re-opened until next session. He could not accept the suggestion of taking a day each from the Gisborne and Poverty Bay Clubs, as that would initiate a turmoil throughout the whole of the dominion, and would also be unfair.
