Mangaheia beat ITo Awamutu at all points of the \ game. Their riding was better, j their hitting far superior, and their I combination in a higher class. From the start, Gisborne piled tip goals, and at the finish won by 10 to nil. Sherratt scored ■!, Reynolds •!, and J. H. Murphy 2 goals. The. winners were presented with the Savile C no by Mrs R. S. Abraham, wife of the vicepresident. In the handicap tournament, Hawke’s Ray heat Harwarden 15, and Rancitikei beat Harwarden A.
