Quaint customs and curious costumes are the feature of the drama, whose story centres around the quest of the torqnoise of happiness. , “Old Love Letters” is a simple ■ little picture, but it has an appeal to all that is none the less strong. The lovers, now greyhaired, scan letters written in their youth, and the scenes they recall are flashed on the screen.' “When Father Had His Way” is an excellent comedy picture, conspicuous for the capable manner in which it is acted. The young man has the misfortune to tread on his sweethearts’ father’s favourite coni, and the old man Naturally wants somebody else for a son-in-law. How they get the old man not only to consent to the match, but to force the young man at the revolver’s point to procure a license, buy a ring, engage a parson, and marry the girl, is best told by the cinematograph. The scenic pictures and the remaining films are, all of the best. . (1 To-night tlio same bill will be given.
