Messrs Evans and Tichbon two young residents of Stratford, both well-known and esteemed have started business as furniture makers and general house furnishers, in premises opposite the Wesleyan Church, in Regan Street. On Monday, March 31st, the new firm will commence a sale of specially purchased goods, particulars of which will appear in another column.
Mr T. Lamason’s usual sale at the Mart on Saturday. A comfortable residence, cowshed, outbuildings, trap shed, dairy cows, quantity of hay and various crops (altogether a desirable property for one retired from business, and IJ-njiles from Stratford Poet Office) is advertised for sale. Clients are requested to note that Mr Newton King will hold his Stratford Autumn Hors© Fair on only one day, viz., Saturday, sth, in place of two days as previously. A boy or youth for grocery business is wanted.
