CHONG FOON’S DEATH.
MAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL

London, March 28. The result of the inquest oh Chung Conn, the Chinaman who was found shot near Parramatta, was that Cecil George Father was committed for trial for shooting deceased. The accused stated that Foon chased him because he asked Foon if he had taken accused’s bird trap, and he fired four shots with the idea of stopping Foon, but he did not intend to hit him.
