WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows ;
The indications are for westerly heavy gale veering by west to south. The weather appears to ho cloudy and unsettled and heavy rain is to be expected, with rivers flooded. Barometer falling, but rising after 24 hours.
