Oroua Hack Hurdles.—Coromandel 1, Serenity 2, Clemency 3. Scratched: Allure. Won by a length and a half after loading all the way. Time, 3min 48 3-ssec. A VISITOR’S OPINION. Sydney, March 25. Among the visitors at Randwick ■yesterday was Sir Edgar Vincent, who has had a lengthy association with racing in England. He went to the six-furlong post to witness, the start, and subsequently expressed his appreciation of the manner in which the sport was conducted. Ho was keenly interested in the working of the starting gate, and stated that had it not been for the pertinacity wherewith Australians struck to the machine starting by barrier would bo a thing of the past in England before now.
