Frank Wild, Captain Davis and other members of Dr. Mawson’s western party have arrived, and were warmly welcomed. Sydney, March 24. Wild, after narrating the dangers attendant to Antarctic exploration, was asked if he thought the work was worth it. He declared that it was cf scientific value. Their research was great, and the explorers enjoyed it. The scenery was magnificent and gave the necessary filip to their arduous tasks. He was ready to go back. Shackleton was talking of another expedition, and Wild would go with him if lie could got a place. Captain Davis stated that Mawsou was well housed and had plenty of provisions and fuel for another year. When he returns in November or December to pick the party up there is every reason to believe that they will fare well.
