According to the Toronto Star, Government circles are preparing for a general election.

ALLEGED ELECTION MALPRACTICE.

Ottawa, March 18

The Government refused a Parliamentary investigation into the charges of election frauds preferred against Coderre. Mr Borden (Premier) pointed out that the preferrers of the charge denied them afterwards. Coderre intends to clear himself in the Courts.
