After the sports ; a very successful lance was held, and dancing was kept ip till the small hours of the morning, i very enjoyable time being spent. Mr ind Mrs Lichtwark, ef Tarata, supdied splendid music, and Mr W. McAsey acted as M.C.
3REYMOUTH HIBERNIAN SPOUTS

At the Hibernian sports in Victoria Park, Wall, the Christchurch crack, won the half and two-mile cycle events, and gained second in the two miles. In the three miles race he 1 was re-handicapped to the extent of 120yds, and would not start. The Sheffield Handicap, of 120yds, was won by A. Court (9yds) in 11 4-usec. BLENHEIM HIBERNIAN SPORTS. Blenheim, March 17. The Blenheim Hibernian Society’s sports were hold to-day in fine weather and before a fair attendance. The results were as follows: j Publicans’ Handicap, of £10; 100-,-ds.—E.
