The passenger and cargo oil launch Ilinemoa, owned by Captain Chadwick, and plying on the Wairoa river service, and valued approximately at £BOO, was completely demolished by lire on Saturday night. The outbreak originated in the engineroom, and an explosion has suggested that it was caused by fumes from a leaky pipe contracting with a lighted lamp. The owner was hurled along the saloon, and h,ad a remarkable escape from injurjr. There is a partial, insurance, bqt the loss is heavy.
