WRECK OF THE CALVADOS.
SUFFERING AND DEATH IN A SNOWSTORM.

Constantinople, March 15
The enquiry into the loss of tho Calvados shows that' she struck a reef on the island of St. Andrea, in a snowstorm.
The passengers were panic-stricken Some jumped overboard, and other; were washed away. The bulk of them were landed on a small rock, and reached the island.
Twenty-seven were on an exposed rock for two days, and several were frozen to death.
